Senior topics to be discussed

Gerontologist and author, Therese Johnson, will be speaking at the Friends of the Auburn Library NOON program on Friday, Feb. 16 at noon. The topic is “Myths of Spending Down” where Johnson will discuss issues related to seniors.

Johnson is CEO of Senior Care of Sacramento and is the author of “Savings: Best Kept Secretson How to Pay for Senior Services.” She has spent the last 20 years working in acute care, long-term care, and as an administrator for residential care facilities for the elderly.

The Friends of the Auburn Library NOON program takes place in the Beecher Room at the Auburn Library, 350 Nevada St, Auburn. Guests are recommended to attend early for the best seating.
